Pasta made in Molise is world famous, but all food in general has
an important role in Molisean tradition. The typical recipes are
simple and seasonal, which means that the ingredients are always
fresh.
Literary evidences from Plinio, Cicerone and Orazio witness the
bounty of the vineyards, olives and water. The agriculture, still
the most solid element of Molisean economy, is mainly based on vineyards.
